4 weeks ago I moved to a new city and started a new job at a new company.
In the middle of a pandemic.
While it hasn't been the smoothest transition, I feel very grateful to help build the future of healthcare with the team at Ro, especially when people need it the most.
I know some of you might have lost your job or are otherwise having trouble getting through this time. I'm happy to chat if you need career advice, a second pair of eyes on your resume, or just someone to vent to. Let me know -- my virtual door is always open. I hope you and yours are all well though.
Now, I'm about to get super PM nerd. I initially found it hard to be productive working from home and felt slightly anxious about the lack of structure to my days. So, I created a mini-roadmap for myself to help provide more of that structure and ensure that I'm accomplishing high-impact tasks each week.
Here’s what it looked like [template here]:
Not only has this helped me stay focused each week, but I've also gotten better at turning off work when I'm done so I have more time in the evenings to dedicate to other side projects and hobbies.
Aside from reading, writing, and drinking lots of wine, this has helped me a TON during quarantine. What's helped you?
